The HCCA Street, Traffic and Transportation Committee is proud to announce that Hillcrest has its first roadway bike infrastructure. The District Department of Transportation installed sharrows between Suitland Road and Alabama Ave SE.
What is a sharrow?
It's a decal to let motorist and bicyclists know they need to share the road and respect each other. Share + arrows = sharrows.
